Proximo Made Simple

This handy guide will show you everything you need to know about Proximo and how to get the best results for your locations!

Getting Started

1. Be Sure you’ve got yourself a Proximo Account. Visit Orkiv.com/Proximo if not! Remember, one store will forever be FREE!

2. Login with your new account

Important: If you plan to utilize more than one store, navigate to the Accounts tab where you can enter Credit Card information, so no progress is lost unexpectedly when entering stores.

Upgrade Your Account

1. You can upgrade you account to get more than one location, or unlock the “Audience” tab for analytics by clicking “Account”, hitting the “Add Card” button.

2. Enter your “Card details”. Payments are securely handled by Stripe, the internet's foremost payment processor.

Adding Stores One-By-One

Note: Your trial comes with 1 store free. To add additional stores, you will need to update your payment information within the “Account” tab.

1. Go ahead and add your store by clicking “Add Store”

2. Enter the new store locations Address

3. Chose the Store Logo

4. Set the desired Targeting Radius

5. Finalize your new store location by selecting “Add Location”

Adding Store Locations in Bulk

Note: Your trial comes with 1 store free. To add additional stores, you will need to update your payment information within the “Account” tab.

1. Click “Bulk Editor”

2. Add as many locations as you need by hitting “Add Row”

3. Fill in all fields for each new location

4. Be sure to “Save All” new locations

5. In order to add multiple stores, you need to have an upgraded account.

Editing Store Locations

1. Click the “Green Pencil” to edit or “Red Trash” to delete the location

2. Edit the current “Store Information”

3. Fill in all fields for each new location

4. Be sure to “Update” locations to save them

Show All Locations on a Map

1. Click the “Map Icon” which will slide out a map of all current locations, and their targeting zones

2. View locations, and “Collapse” the menu when you are finished 

Adding Location Based Coupons

1. Click the “Promotions” tab

2. Go ahead and “Create promotion” which will add a new random coupon code to the list

3. Click the “Green Pencil” on your new coupon to bring up coupon details to edit or hit the “Red Trash” to eliminate the coupon

Editing Location Based Coupons

1. When you hit the “Green Pencil” in edit mode, you can edit all aspects of the coupon itself

2. Set a “Coupon Code”, “Template”, and “Mode” (more on these later)

3. Edit the “Header” text of your coupons.

4. Select custom “font-color” and “font-family” of your coupon texts, messages, backgrounds, and buttons.

5. Write a simple “Message” to show below the main header.

6. Edit your “Call to action” with something captivating and intriguing

7. Add an “Image” to your coupon

8. “Update & preview” your current coupon design in the pane to the right.

 

9. Select the “Full preview” to bring up the coupon on screen.

10. Choose which locations you want the coupon to respond to using “Show locations”

11. Finally, select your “Display options” for things like what days you want to show it on, how long to show the coupon for, and how many time should one visitor see the coupon.

Adding Websites

1. Click the “Websites” tab within Proximo (you can have as many websites within one account as needed)

2. Hit “Add Website” and enter the website “Domain Name”

3. Click the “Green Pencil” to get the Proximo Snippet which will go within your website, hit the “Red Trash” to delete your website.

4. Copy your “<!--Proximo Snippet-->” and place within the <head>and</head> tags within your website. Here is a full tutorial on placing this snippet within any website.

5. If you have trouble, enter the email of your webmaster and “Email to my developer”

Audience, Reach and Analytics - Paid Accounts Only

1. Click into “Audience” within Proximo. To upgrade your account, enter your payment information here.

2. You’ll immediately be shown the number of “coupon impressions”, “coupon clicks”, and “conversion percent”.

3. In the bottom, you’ll notice the “Store Traffic Ratio” which tells you which stores have received the most number of people viewing your coupons.

Custom Audience Reporting

1. Within the “Audience” tab in Proximo, select the “Start” and “End” timeframe for your report. When you hover over the box you will see a dropdown arrow, this will bring up a calendar for selection

2. Select the “Data mode” you want to view your report based on: Merge, Separate all, or Show selected.

  • “Merge” - Places all data points on one graph, and gives a high level overview of the performance across all coupons, and locations.
  • “Separate all” - Gives a breakdown of coupon performance by coupon code, to see which coupons are performing better than others.
  • “Show selected” - Gives you the flexibility to see performance by individual store, or individual coupon, depending on your custom selection

3. Choose which actions you would like to “Show” within the analytics dashboard. Select “Promotion impressions”, “Promotion clicks”, or “Store traffic”.

4. Be sure to “Apply” the settings you have chosen, which will show a graph with your selection

Account Settings

1. Click “Account” within Proximo to bring up your account settings.

2. If you want to upgrade your account to get “Audience”, or add additional stores, hit the “Add card” button

3. Enter “Card details” into the Stripe payment portal, to upgrade to a pro account.

4. Hit “Go Pro” to complete the transaction and get your upgraded account going

5. To add additional users to your Proximo account, select “Manage users”

6. Add new user email and assign a role as either: “Admin” for all user rights, “Promotions” who will be able to add, edit, and adjust coupons, and “Location manager” who will be able to add/edit locations.

7. Click “Create” to make the new user active.

8. To download a excel viewable sheet of emails you have collected select “Download emails”

9. If you’d like to update your password select “Update password” where you enter the current password, and a new one assigned.

10. To delete your account hit the “Delete” button

11. Type the letters “DELETE” into the box,, then select “Delete account”. Keep in mind this is a permanent setting, and all data contained within Proximo will be lost. 

Search Effectively

1. Start typing what you are looking for into the “Search” bar.

2. Results will popup below, showing all locations, coupons, or websites.

3. Clicking a result will bring you to that category (selecting a coupon, brings you to edit mode of that coupon.
